This year is a very special year for us at Taste Porto. We celebrate our 10th anniversary!

10 years of sharing our passion for Porto and its food secrets with thousands of people. It has been an enormous honor to have welcome you all here in Porto and a true privilege to be able to share our passion with you all. Obrigado!

When we started in 2013, it was just the 3 founders and very limited resources. We came a long way from our humble beginnings: we are now the longest-running food tour company in Porto and a top pick for Porto Food Tours on Lonely Planet, The Guardian, New York Times, Rick Steves, and many many more<\/a>.

When it all started for us, we had millions of dreams, curiosity, and immense enthusiasm. Ten years later, not much has changed really. The only thing that I believe changed is the fact that we have made our dreams true and we have dreamt new ones.

From hosting the immortal Anthony Bourdain here in Porto to being the ones that, in the middle of a pandemic, launched the first-ever app for a self-guided food tour of Porto, we continue to focus – every single day – on providing authentic cultural experiences while making a positive impact on our community.

We know that travel has changed much but we thank you for keeping your eyes, ears, hearts, and minds open to – what we believe is a better (and far more enjoyable) type of tourism. Food Tours and Food Tourism is here to stay… and I cheer to that!

You know that, in life, is not really about where you go. It’s really about the walk – and who you share the walk with. I take pride in saying that we have extraordinary tour guides and partners in town. They are one of the reasons for our success and they make people fall in love consistently with Porto. Anyone will fall in love with Porto after getting in touch with them (myself included, obviously!).

Over the years, our mission has grown stronger: to share our passion for Porto through what is most unique about the city – its food and its people.
